Stephanie Durno Karns is the Director of Operations for the Wildlife Investigators Training Alliance. She has been an active field biologist for 25 years. She graduated with distinction with a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology. While working as a field technician in Central America, she gained Spanish language skills and a love for the tropics. She served as a wildlife officer and biologist in the Rocky Mountains for nearly 20 years, where she received extensive training and experience in wildlife crime investigations.
